A note from the chairperson:
Welcome to the Ojibwe Forests Rally! We want you to come and watch our Rally
event! As sites are identified for spectator areas, the information will
be posted and updated here on the website. Our Event Program, complete with
spectating information, will be available at the Bemidji Visitors Center,
Park Rapids Visitor Center and various businesses around the area including
the Bemidji Curling Club. Maps will be provided showing approved spectator
locations but maps showing the race course will not be readily available.

Our policy is to find you easily accessible and safe places to watch the
event. Please DO NOT venture off into the forest on your own. If you find
your way into an unsafe place, we will be required to stop the rally. Potentially
unsafe areas will be marked with signs stating, "No Spectators Beyond This
Point." A nearby marshal will have maps and instructions to direct you to
a safe viewing location. With your cooperation, we will hold a safe and
fun event.
Please note: Minnesota forests in summer have many varieties
of wood ticks. With that comes the threat of a tick-borne illness. There
is an excellent article in the June Harvard Women's Health Watch "Avoiding
tick-borne Illness" The article is at

We hope you enjoy the Ojibwe Forests Rally.
Thank you,
