Welcome to the Ojibwe Forests Rally Homepage. The 2008 event will be held August 22nd-23rd, 2008 and is the seventh event of nine in the Rally America National Championship Series.
Wednesday, August 20, Ojibwe Forests Rally and Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru, with Scott Putnam, Fleet Mananger, will be hosting a RallyFest in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. From 11am until 2pm, over the busy downtown lunch, rally cars, drivers, co-drivers, and more will be on Nicollet Mall between 7th and 8th Street to kick off the Ojibwe Forests Rally, sign autographs, and talk rally. The event will feature X-Games competitors "Cowboy" Kenny Bartram, Andrew Comrie-Picard, and Jeff Moyle, Rockstar driver Andrew Pinker, and Minnesota favorites Bob Olson and Mark Utecht. Come join the fun as we get this year's great event started with a bash!
Thursday, August 21st, the Ojibwe Forests Rally will feature a “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram freestyle motocross exhibition at the Bemidji Speedway beginning at 7:00pm. Tickets are $7. Sponsoring the exhibition will be Coca-Cola and The Corner Bar of Bemidji, who will host a rally car driver’s autograph session after the show, including Travis Pastrana and Ken Block. Bartram, a two-time X Games gold medalist in motorcycle events, has been participating in the Rally America Series since 2006, the season where he was named “Rookie of the Year”.
Ojibwe Forests Rally 2008 finds a new home at the Bemidji Curling Club!
Seasonally home to world class curlers, the Bemidji Curling Club will play host and headquarters to the 2008 event. The Curling Club can be found 1 block south of Paul Bunyan Drive on Ridgeway Avenue NW, specifically 1230 23rd St NW, Bemidji MN (click here for map and here for directions). For those looking for lodging solutions, the Curling Club is across the street from the AmericInn and 2 blocks south of the Holiday Inn Express. The Ojibwe Forests Rally is part of the Rally America National Rally Championship, and is the seventh of nine events in this grueling series. Ojibwe is a critical event for competitors chasing championship points. Bemidji, Minnesota is the home of the Ojibwe Forests Rally. Located in northern Minnesota's lake and vacation country, it is near the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park. The rally winds its way through the Paul Bunyan and White Earth State Forests on some of the best rally roads in the country.

Friday, August 22nd, 2008 - Paul Bunyan's Ride Rally has been run since
1989. As a Coefficient 3 event, it has added national style competition
to the Central Region series.
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 - 10,000 Lakes was added in 1994, part of
an on-going effort to build new competition within the Central Region. This
year 10,000 Lakes will run on Saturday, and is a Coefficient 3 Rally.
